Emmerdale has aired drama for Mackenzie Boyd as he was kidnapped in a shocking scene.

Tonight’s (December 18) episode began with Charity wondering about the whereabouts of her husband, remarking that he must enjoy putting her through “hell”.

He eventually showed up, but was in a foul mood as he asked for a drink at The Woolpack. Charity wasn’t obliging, however, with Mack storming off as he felt he was being “pecked” at.

Mack eventually sought the sanctuary of his own home, with Charity losing her temper as he began to drink on the sofa. He eventually told all about his previous night’s antics, saying he spent the night on a park bench.

Charity feared that he spent the night with another woman, demanding answers as to why he kept ignoring her calls, with Mack losing his temper as he remarked that he was “bored” and purposefully didn’t answer.

He said he was heading out again, this time for a potentially even longer period, with Charity telling him not to come back if he felt so strongly; little did she know that her wish would come true.

Meanwhile, Mack’s ex-fiancée Chloe was getting close to her adoptive father Damon aka Harry, admitting that she was nervous about him making a scene.

He reassured her that he would follow her wishes, but deep down he was harbouring some darker thoughts.

As the episode ended, he showed he cannot be trusted, with the new arrival walking around an abandoned property to reveal that he had abducted Mack; just what is he planning?...
