Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Aaron Dingle has played an unlikely role in patching up Jacob Gallagher and Victoria Sugden's romance in Emmerdale.
His involvement comes as a surprise since Aaron has been lashing out at everyone close to him because of his continued grief over sister Liv Dingle's death.
Meanwhile, Victoria recently considered temporarily leaving the village until after Christmas since Jacob wasn't ready to tell his family about their relationship.

Aaron was having a drink with Victoria in Wednesday's (December 13) episode when he spied a cheeky look at her mobile phone and joked that she was "keeping it in the family" with her new romance.

"So, like father, like son?... I can't ask who's better in bed then?" he quipped to a mortified Victoria.
When Victoria confessed to him that she is in love with Jacob, Aaron wondered why she decided to run away for the holidays.
"If Jacob is 'the one', then wait for him," Aaron encouraged her.
Victoria immediately recognised that Aaron was "speaking from experience", then assured him that his own long-lost love Robert was "doing okay".
"Didn't ask," Aaron insisted.
He immediately changed the subject to question whether he'd genuinely helped Victoria, and she admitted: "For once, yes."
Aaron next approached Jacob to reveal he knew everything about his relationship with Victoria, then urged Jacob to handle this issue with Vic "face-to-face".
"Don't mess it up, yeah?" Aaron encouraged.
When Jacob did stop by to see Victoria, she said she understood why he wanted to wait to tell his family about their romance. The two shared a hug as they both agreed they wanted to "get back to normal".
