Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale is lining up a "really brutal" brawl between Aaron and Cain Dingle.
This insight arrives via the soap's producer Laura Shaw, who spoke to Digital Spy and other media about the drama set to air at the turn of the year.
"Aaron and Cain are not getting on very well at all at the moment, I think it's safe to say," she began.

"We'll see some tensions building there between those two, leading to a really brutal physical fight between Cain and Aaron in the New Year.

"Which one of those is going to come out on top? Who's going to win the fight? We'll have to wait and see if both of them come out still standing," Shaw went on to tease.
The two alpha Dingles have been butting heads of late, after it was revealed back in October that Aaron was Cain and Caleb Milligan's captive at Wylie's Farm.

Danny Miller, who's played Aaron since 2008, previously discussed his character's unexpected comeback and what that may entail going forward.
"I was just reading new scripts and it stays on that darker arc," he shared.
"Laura and [executive producer Jane Hudson] were saying: 'We're keen to keep that because we don't have that kind of character – who's looking for a fight, who's winding people up, who's got these smart comebacks and lines'.
"For me, that's quite good to play because Aaron keeps making smart remarks. It's good to play that character, and then eventually in the future hopefully he'll return to some form of who he used to be."
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
