Faye plays for sympathy by claiming that she has been sleeping in her car. She also insists that she's still in love with Mary and wants another chance.

Mary doesn't believe a word of it, so Faye changes tactics by resorting to blackmail.

Faye reveals that she's in possession of a nude photo of Mary, which she took without consent.

She threatens to release the picture to all her contacts, unless Mary withdraws her police statement over the cash con.

The following day, Faye continues to harass Mary by turning up at her home. She taunts Mary by warning that the clock is ticking for her to make a decision.

Mary is sickened by Faye's cruelty. Her daughter Rhona is also flabbergasted to find Faye smugly sitting on the sofa at Smithy Cottage.

Once they're alone, Mary tells Rhona that she is considering complying with Faye's demands as she's desperate to stop the photo from being sent out.
