Emmerdale's Samson goes missing after storm

Samson Dingle has gone missing in the aftermath of the storm in Emmerdale.

The village was in a state of chaos during Thursday's (October 20) hour-long episode, between Amelia going into labour and others learning the tragic news about Harriet and Liv's deaths.

Samson wasn't at the side of his child's mother, Amelia, as she started the process of giving birth, though the rest of his family and friends didn't realise he was gone until after the baby had arrived.

Belle and Zak realised Samson was nowhere to be found when they figured out he hadn't gone to the hospital to see the baby, as expected.

"I don't even think he's been home," Belle realised.

The pair reckoned all of the young ones must have got together, so Belle decided to just text Samson about the baby. However, a cutaway revealed that Samson's phone had been abandoned in a field.

Samson's fate was left unknown for the remainder of the episode…

There was some good news for the family, as Sam Dingle's doctors told his family that the emergency operation had been a success.

While Sam was lucky to escape a fate like Harriet and Liv, he still faced life-long consequences after being impaled on farm machinery during the storm.

"There was considerable muscle damage. That's what took us so long to repair so he'll have an impressive scar," the doctor told them. "He'll need a lot of physiotherapy to get his mobility back but he should be fine."
