Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Billy Fletcher changes his mind over pursuing custody of Clemmie next week.
Billy recently warned his wife Dawn that it wasn't feasible for them to raise Clemmie, who's the young daughter of Dawn's late friend Beth.
In next week's episodes, Dawn's father Will Taylor worries when he sees how much she's struggling over Clemmie's departure.
Will suggests that Dawn should call social services for an update on Clemmie and she agrees that it's a good idea.

Later, Dawn reveals that her ex-lover Alex is Clemmie's father. This makes Clemmie the half-sister of Dawn's son Lucas.
Dawn is angry to realise that Alex must have cheated on her with Beth, but she soon brushes this aside and decides that Clemmie and Lucas should be raised together. She fears that Billy won't be on board, but he reveals that he has already called social services to ask about securing custody of Clemmie.
Dawn is delighted over Billy finally supporting her on this, but she's sceptical over their chances when social services confirm that they'd need Alex's consent to get custody of Clemmie.
Determined to at least try this, Dawn and Billy visit Alex in prison.

Selfish as ever, Alex initially refuses to let Dawn and Billy foster Clemmie.
Billy reacts by giving Alex some tough home truths, which appear to get through to Alex as he changes his mind.
However, as Alex smiles smugly, can he really be trusted?
