Emmerdale star Jay Kontzle has revealed he and his wife Mimi are expecting their third child.
Jay, who plays Billy Fletcher on the soap, married Mimi, an artist, in 2017. They are already parents to KaiBo, who will turn six years old later this month, and 4-year-old Zian.
In a recent interview, Jay explained the pregnancy came as a surprise to the couple.
"Mimi called me during my lunch break on set and told me," he told OK! magazine.

"I was sitting eating lunch in the sun and all of a sudden I went hot and started dripping with sweat. I was a bit shocked!" he continued, adding that Mimi had wanted to get a pregnancy test in the previous days.

"Before that, Mimi had said she wanted to get a pregnancy test and I said, 'A pregnancy test? That's a lot of money that, especially with the cost of living going up," he continued.
"Then I was in work and she decided to throw a spanner in the works over lunch!"
Mimi explained that she'd been wanting to have a child for a little while and had been joking with Jay about it just before finding out she was expecting again.

"I'd been winding Jay up for months before, saying I really wanted another child – but his answer was always no," she said.
"So I think that made me want another one more, basically just to be spiteful. But then it kind of backfired and I did end up getting pregnant."
Mimi was "shocked it was [a] positive [test]", but said the pregnancy is "a nice surprise".
"We know we're lucky to be having another child. We're excited and it's a blessing," she added.
Mimi also said that KaiBo and Zian "can't wait" to meet their new sibling, who is due in November.
"They were so excited. They always say, 'I love you, baby' and touch my belly," she added. "This child will be really loved."
