Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Billy Fletcher is left worried tonight (July 18) as his wife Dawn's fixation on the Clemmie situation grows further.
Last week's episodes saw Dawn intervene when she discovered that Clemmie – the young daughter of her late friend Beth – was being brought up in an unsafe environment.
Dawn brought Clemmie back to the village for an overnight stay, without alerting the authorities. Harriet Finch ultimately stepped in by calling social services to alert them.
In Monday's episode, a social worker meets Dawn at Home Farm to discuss the matter.

Dawn believes that she should have a chance to foster Clemmie and desperately makes her case to the social worker.
Billy is alarmed to overhear this, especially as Dawn hasn't discussed it with him before making the offer.
Billy is particularly concerned that, if Dawn's mission is successful, it could lead to them having to delay plans to have their own biological child.

Meanwhile, Dawn remains furious with Harriet for calling social services without consulting her.

Monday's episode also sees Nicola King become concerned when she fears that her recent social media post may have led to a girl being attacked.
Elsewhere, David Metcalfe and Leyla Cavanagh find themselves at odds over Jacob Gallagher, as David issues some home truths and accuses Leyla of not supporting her son.
