Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Dawn Taylor was left devastated during Wednesday night's episode (December 9) after a difficult conversation with her ex-boyfriend Billy Fletcher.
Dawn (Olivia Bromley) broke up with Billy in an attempt to keep him in the dark about DI Malone's murder and, since their split, she's returned to sex work.
Last night, Dawn was taken to hospital after collapsing outside the cafe. She was later diagnosed with a pelvic inflammatory disease that was caused by a chlamydia infection.
Dawn was also sadly told that the damage from the STI means that she may not be able to have any more children.
Tonight, Dawn went to tell Billy about her infection but found him in the Woolpack with his brother Ellis Chapman (who Dawn has also recently slept with).

Dawn decided to break the news to both of them together but Billy, who she'd been on better terms with recently, reacted harshly to the news.
He told her he regretted ever even getting involved with her, putting a dramatic halt to the former couple being friendly again.
But that isn't the only problem Dawn's facing.
She has even more problems coming as tonight's episode also saw Harriet meet a woman named Jean. It turns out Jean's father Richard is buried in the same plot as Malone after Harriet and Dawn murdered him and threw his body into an open grave earlier this year.
Jean told Harriet she was unable to make her father's funeral and thus his wishes weren't fulfilled – and she now wants to exhume his body in order for her to take his body home.
What will Harriet do now to make sure her and Dawn's dark secret stays buried?
