DI Malone could be back to haunt the residents of Emmerdale – just in time for Christmas – as his body may be about to be dug up.
In upcoming scenes, Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) is set for a run-in with Jean, a woman she meets in the graveyard.
After initially spotting Jean in the spooky setting, she crosses paths with her again at church where the mysterious Jean tells her that she's the daughter of someone who's been buried.

She explains that she was at the graveyard to visit her late dad. After chatting, Harriet realises her loved one is in the same plot as Malone, who Harriet buried earlier this year to protect killer Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley).
What to Read Next
Harriet and Dawn worked together to cover it up and successfully managed to bury Malone's body back in August, putting his corpse in a newly dug grave.
Jean reveals that she has plans to exhume her father's body from the ground, which leads a frantic Harriet to call the Bishop the next day in a desperate attempt for it to not go ahead.

The Bishop says she'll come and visit Harriet in person so that they can chat, but a panicked Harriet knows her dark secret could now be dug up sooner rather than later.
