Christmas is always full of surprises in soapland, and it'll be no different in Emmerdale when the festive spirit prompts Jamie Tate to consider a surprising reunion later this month.
Things get off to a rocky start for Jamie in upcoming episodes, after he returns from his trip to find Home Farm in a state – and his mum Kim less than impressed.
Not before she instructs Jamie to clean up his mess, and tells him he's made the family look like a laughing a stock, Kim announces to Jamie's estranged wife Andrea that she has a special Christmas plan in store for granddaughter Millie.

With Millie over at Home Farm for Christmas Eve, Jamie and Kim can't help but feel emotional at the sight of her opening her presents.

Keen to spend the day with his daughter, Jamie manages to talk round a reluctant Andrea to the idea of letting Millie spend part of Christmas Day at Home Farm. When she relents, Jamie is left feeling very pleased with himself.
Later, Jamie makes a surprise revelation to Kim, admitting that he's suggested he and Andrea get back together. Kim can't believe it, but are the couple on the same page – or does Andrea have other plans?

Elsewhere, Emmerdale has promised that the identity of Al Chapman's mystery woman will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Viewers have recently seen Al behaving suspiciously with texts and phone calls to an unknown woman, despite his relationship with Priya Kotecha. Could the lucky lady be Andrea? Now that would be a Christmas surprise.
