Emmerdale's Billy Fletcher grows more confused over his mysterious split from Dawn Taylor tonight (October 8).
Billy (Jay Kontzle) was left devastated in August when Dawn abruptly ended their relationship without explanation.
Viewers know that Dawn (Olivia Bromley) made the decision for the greater good, wanting to keep Billy out of the drama surrounding DI Malone's murder.
While pushing him away, Dawn has tried to pretend that she never truly loved Billy – but he has always suspected that there's more to the situation than meets the eye.

In Thursday's episode, Dawn gets drunk while spending time with Billy's brother Ellis Chapman (Aaron Anthony) at the HOP office.
Ellis is still keen to play matchmaker for the pair, so he removes himself from the situation when Billy turns up to see Dawn.
