Emmerdale's Arthur Thomas gets a nasty shock tonight (May 13) as he's forced to face the police over his recent antics.
Arthur (Alfie Clarke) is stunned to realise that his mother Laurel has reported him as she can't cope with his bad behaviour any longer.
The troublesome schoolboy pushed his luck too far by causing a scary campfire incident that endangered his younger sister Dotty.
In Wednesday's episode, Laurel reminds Arthur that she loves him, before forcing him to sit down for a stern chat with PC Swirling.

The local policeman wants to talk all about the campfire drama and tries to make Arthur see how terribly things could have turned out.
Much to Arthur's frustration, Swirling also brings up the incident with Archie and the cabinet – with everyone still unaware that Arthur was innocent that time.
As the day takes a tense turn and truths come to light about recent events, will Laurel's attempt to scare Arthur ultimately pay off or backfire?

Charlotte Bellamy, who plays Laurel, recently explained: "Laurel makes the very difficult decision to get the police around to the house, because she wants to frighten Arthur. She's using that as a tactic. She doesn't want to put him in prison but she wants to frighten him. She thinks maybe Arthur will listen to PC Swirling.
"Arthur goes crazy and heads to the graveyard. He's damaged over the death of his father and grandfather. He's a very, very mixed-up child."
Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV.
