Emmerdale star Fiona Wade has revealed the angry fallout from Priya Kotecha's surprise new fling being exposed.
Priya has been enjoying a secret relationship with bad boy Al Chapman (Michael Wildman), despite the recent animosity between him and her brother Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson).
Next week's episodes see Priya and Al decide that it's time for them to go public as a couple. However, before they get a chance to come clean, Jai catches them together.

Fiona told Inside Soap: "They've snuck off to one of the sheds at the glamping sites and Jai is showing round an important client – he walks in on Priya and Al having just done it!

"Jai goes crazy and an argument breaks out. Jai doesn't trust Al and I think Priya's a little bit blind to it.
"So after being upset, she then gets defensive – she is determined to make a go of it with this relationship."
While Jai may not be a big fan of the pairing, Fiona has praised the decision to match up Priya and Al.

She said: "I hadn't worked with Michael at all. But Priya has been single for a long time, so I thought it would be good for her to actually meet someone again.
"Plus, it's always exciting to do scenes with someone new. It's been a joy, we've had a really great time. Obviously our storyline has suddenly got cut in the middle because we've stopped filming, and that felt strange.
"We've gone from doing intense scenes together to just stopping!"
Emmerdale currently airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on ITV.
