Emmerdale returned to ITV tonight (April 10) as fans witnessed another showdown between Belle Dingle and Jamie Tate.
Their affair has been one of the main storylines on the soap this year, but thanks to Jamie's marriage to Andrea and Belle's relationship with Ellis, it was always likely to crash and burn.
However, after some fiery words exchanged in tonight's scenes, Jamie finally declared his true feelings for Belle.

It all kicked off when Belle learned from Paddy that her receptionist job was at stake at the vets, as Jamie wanted her gone so he could comfortably go back to his wife.
When confronted, Jamie attempted to buy Belle out with an offer of four months' pay, but she stood strong and quickly turned the tables on him.

Defenceless, Jamie changed tactics and went on to reveal that he'd been struggling at home with Andrea, not even able to touch her because of his feelings for Belle.
With love (and not just lust) now in the air, the pair have hit something of a crossroads.
