Emmerdale's DI Malone storyline continued on Wednesday evening (April 8) when Cain Dingle was forced into making a dangerous deal, but some fans have questioned the absence of one character.
After Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) was threatened by Malone (Mark Womack) with a 10-year prison sentence, Cain (Jeff Hordley) agreed to do one more job for the corrupt policeman.
With many of the key scenes in this storyline taking place in Aaron Dingle's house and Cain currently staying in Mill Cottage, viewers expressed surprise that Aaron hasn't been spotted at all during the storyline.
The storyline started when Aaron and Liv Flaherty were away from the village, but they have recently returned.
"Is Cain keeping Aaron and Liv locked in their rooms while all this with Malone is going on?" one person tweeted last night.
Another viewer joked: "Might as well put a revolving door on Aaron’s place the amount of people coming in and out 😂"

The latest scenes happened after Malone found out that Cain and Billy were double-crossing him as his potentially incriminating 4x4 vehicle was found in a field by the police.
"[Billy's] scared of what Malone is capable of doing," star Jay Kontzle recently said. "It's the power. Malone is dodgy, but it's the power he's got over everyone in the village.
"Billy can't really do much and his hands are tied, really. He's having to do these jobs when he's not wanting to."
Emmerdale currently airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on ITV.
