Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Cain Dingle gets nervous tonight (April 10) as Aaron starts asking some awkward questions about his strange behaviour.

Fans have been complaining about Aaron's absence in the ongoing DI Malone saga, but he finally makes a cameo in the storyline this evening as he starts to sense that something is up.

In Friday's episode, Aaron (Danny Miller) is baffled to spot Cain spending time with Will Taylor and Billy Fletcher at the cafe.

The trio have met up to discuss the latest dramas with Malone, but since they're hardly the best of friends, it's understandable that Aaron would be suspicious.

What to Read Next

Aaron takes the opportunity to tell Billy (Jay Kontzle) that he'll no longer be needed at the scrapyard. However, he also notes that he has barely seen Cain (Jeff Hordley) since he returned to the village and seems to want some quality time with his uncle.

Cain isn't receptive to Aaron's questions – or his efforts to reach out – as he wants to keep him as far away from the Malone drama as possible.

Viewers have seen Cain get bullied into doing a criminal job for Malone after the dodgy detective threatened Billy with a ten-year prison sentence over bogus GBH charges.

Cain clearly thinks he's doing Aaron a favour by shielding him from Malone, but since they're living under the same roof, how long will that be possible for?

Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV.
