Emmerdale star Jay Kontzle has suggested that Billy Fletcher will find himself in more trouble following his arrest next week.
Upcoming scenes will see DI Malone plot his next move, after the potentially incriminating 4x4 vehicle is found in a field by the police. Malone frames Billy for assault and delivers an ultimatum.
Jay teased that this ultimatum could "definitely" lead to more bad news for his character Billy.
"I don't think Billy can get away from trouble to be honest, even when he tries to," he explained.
Jay added that Billy's previous experience with the authorities makes him more worried about the dangerous feud with Malone.

"Billy is definitely worried about the consequences [when the car is found], because he's already had some run-ins with the law since coming back to the village," he said. "His main worry is getting put back in prison again because he fears it'd be a long stretch.
"Given the time he's done before, it'd be a long stretch. He's worried he could lose it all. He's spent a lot of time getting back on the right path."

The star added of Malone: "I think [Billy's] scared of what Malone is capable of doing.
"It's the power. Malone is dodgy, but it's the power he's got over everyone in the village. Billy can't really do much and his hands are tied, really. He's having to do these jobs when he's not wanting to."
Jay added that while Billy and Cain are struggling against the corrupt copper, there is one positive for the pair.
"I think it's a real struggle for the two of them, but it's bonded them too," he said. "It's the two naughty boys of the village, and it's been good to work together.
"It's been a good story to get your teeth into, and nice to work with really established actors and being in the position where I can learn from them. I've had really decent stories, and they seem to be getting even better. It's a really nice learning period for me."
Emmerdale currently airs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
