Emmerdale's Will Taylor will inadvertently put Dawn's son Lucas in danger, after Lucas finds his gun.
In scenes airing next week, Lucas comes to visit and Dawn (Olivia Bromley), who is trying to get full-time custody of her son again, is desperate to make sure that everything goes perfectly. Dawn's boyfriend Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) is with her and helps by building Lucas a pillow fort, which makes Lucas happy.
But when the fort later collapses around Lucas, Dawn snaps and it alarms and scares her son. Dawn is upset, as she thinks everything has been ruined.

The following day, Dawn's dad Will (Dean Andrews) helps to set up a blaster fight with the kids, but a shocked Billy notices that Lucas has re-entered the room holding a real gun rather than a blaster gun.
Will begins to hyperventilate, but Billy manages to contain his panic and successfully gets Lucas to hand over the gun without anybody getting hurt.

Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) and Billy later work out that the weapon belongs to Will. They confront him, but are later torn when Will hints that if Dawn learns the truth, it could lead to her losing custody of Lucas.

Harriet and Billy then have to decide whether or not they should cover for Will – and also how to get rid of the gun.
