Emmerdale fans were left scratching their heads in the first part of last night's (February 6) double bill after spotting something slightly out of the ordinary.

In one scene, Tracy Metcalfe and Amy Wyatt were spotted sitting next to each other in the pub, which may seem normal enough.

However, fans have noted how the pair are actually feuding at the moment over Frank Clayton, with Tracy angry at Amy for her role in his death.

Noting the strange placing, one fan tweeted: "Am I the only one that think it's weird for Tracy to just sit with Amy at the Woolpack like Amy wasn't the one to blame for Franks dead?!"

"Tracy and Amy casually sitting at the bar together is not a thing I want to see again any time soon. Poor choice," another added.

Meanwhile, a third viewer wrote: "Why in the bloody hell are Amy and Tracy sitting next to each other like nothing's happened [?]."

It's worth noting that they did not actually interact much, and it was a more sombre scene where the villagers reflected on Sandy Thomas' death, so they may have been keeping things more civil.

Meanwhile in soapland, Emmerdale has announced the addition of two new characters – DI Malone and Paul – played by Mark Womack and Reece Dinsdale, respectively.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
