Moira Dingle will hit rock bottom in a new look at next month's Emmerdale.

She has been spiraling increasingly out of control, clashing with other members of the Dingle family ever since her affair with Cain's (Jeff Hordley) estranged son Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) was outed.

The spiral continues next month in Emmerdale when Moira's (Natalie J. Robb) volatile behaviour forces Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) to move out of the house.

Moira is initially despondent over being deserted, though Matty tells her the following day that he just needs some time to process everything that has happened and wants to forgive her.

Yet, Matty senses his mum isn't telling him the full truth, with viewers seeing that Moira has actually hidden a massive container of herbicides.

What to Read Next

When Matty learns from Pete (Anthony Quinlan) that someone dumped herbicides all over Nate's workplace at Wylie’s grazing land, he worries that Moira has taken her revenge.

The next day, Matty grows even more concerned by finding Moira sleeping off a massive hangover on the couch. Though he tells his mum to sort herself out, she immediately pours more brandy into her coffee.

Moira becomes so inebriated that she eventually loses consciousnesses while wandering around the village, ending up lying unconscious in a ditch. Who will be the first to find her?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, January 9 at 7pm on ITV.
