Emmerdale sets the stage for Noah Dingle's drugs horror tonight (December 20) as his attempts to help Sarah Sugden go wrong.
Noah (Jack Downham) has become increasingly concerned for his niece in recent weeks, aware that newcomer Danny is a bad influence on her.
Friday night's episode sees Noah continue to face a tough time from Sarah (Katie Hill), who's furious over his recent meddling.
Noah is hurt by some cruel remarks from Sarah, and to make matters worse, he's not getting much attention from his mum Charity (Emma Atkins) at the moment.

Things come to a head when Noah discovers that Sarah is still hiding drugs for Danny.

Earlier this month, Emmerdale confirmed that Noah will suffer an overdose in one of the show's Christmas storylines this year.
Graham's involvement in the plot will also ultimately give Charity a motive when he's killed off in the New Year.

Speaking at a recent Emmerdale press event, executive producer Jane Hudson told Digital Spy and other media: "Noah, bless him, is just trying to look after Sarah and it's all going horribly wrong.
"What's great about this storyline is that you really see Charity being a mum. You see Charity and Vanessa being parents together. Whatever Charity's doing, she loves her children and that really comes across in this storyline.
"But Charity blames Graham for what's happened to Noah and she's not going to let that go, because he's already done a lot to her children already. You think it's just about the drugs, but it will become about something else."
Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV.
