Miraculously, Cain, Moira, and Nate all survived the dramatic boat explosion in yesterday's Emmerdale, but rest assured the story isn't over just yet.
Following on from yesterday's (October 23) gripping events at the lake, the soap has offered fans a behind-the-scenes look at how the stunt and underwater moments were filmed – and has also hinted where the love triangle will go next.
"Obviously, there's going to be consequences to everyone's actions," revealed Natalie J Robb, who plays Moira Barton, before the soap's producer Jane Hudson promised a "huge fallout" in the coming weeks.

"It's a very messy time for Cain, Moira, and Nate, and the fallout will be huge," she teased.
Jeff Hordley, who plays fan-favourite Cain Dingle, added: "Where this goes from here, who knows? Because this is big stuff for Cain."

And "big stuff" is no understatement, as not only was Moira and Nate's sordid affair uncovered by Cain this week, it was also revealed that Nate is actually Cain's long-lost son, Nathaniel.

In an unexpected twist, Nate admitted that he had been using Moira to get at his estranged father and had been faking his feelings all along.
Of course, that doesn't explain Moira's decision to be unfaithful to Cain – something which Natalie J Robb has promised will come to the fore. Speaking recently, the actress revealed there are "reasons why she's done it, deep-rooted reasons why".
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
