Emmerdale made hump day a lot more bearable with an intensely dramatic episode as Chas Dingle continued to be in labour in the toilets, while Cain Dingle, Moira Dingle and Nate Robinson were caught in the much-hyped boat explosion.
Things began tonight (October 23) with Moira under the water and trapped in some weeds following the altercation (Nate and Moira have been having an affair and Cain is not happy about it, if you somehow weren't aware) on the boat.
Nate couldn't swim, so it was up to Cain to rescue his wife. He had to return to the surface multiple times to get more air, and things looked dicey. Eventually, he managed to free her from her entanglement, but then the boat exploded!

At first, it looked like Nate has died in the huge explosion. But he was eventually spotted floating on some rubble, and Cain rescued him too.
Once he got Nate out of the water, he swiftly drove off, leaving Moira to wonder where things are going to go from here. Well, she probably won't carry on with Nate, who has been hiding the secret that he's Cain's son and was only using Moira to get at his estranged dad.
What to Read Next
Fans were actually quite impressed with the underwater scenes. There were a lot of high-quality shots from different angles and even a shot of the explosion from underwater, with everything lighting up in orange to match.
