Emmerdale star Chris Bisson has warned that there's "a big mess" coming up for Jai Sharma, as Frank Clayton's death continues to send shockwaves through the village.
Viewers watched in horror this week as the Sharma family business was destroyed in a shocking fire and explosion, which caused the tragic demise of Tracy and Vanessa's father.
Next week's episodes see Jai's stress levels reach an all-time high, as the future of the sweet factory hangs in the balance and the locals continue to speculate over how the fire started.
Speaking about what's ahead, Chris explained: "Watching Frank die was traumatic for the Sharmas. Frank's death now has a huge impact on all of the workers at the factory – and that includes the bosses as well.

"Jai did have a bit of a falling-out with Frank prior to the explosion, and you'll see that Jai's relationship with Megan becomes a particularly difficult one to manage at this time. Megan is grieving and tearing a strip off Jai, expecting him to be honourable to Frank and to her.

"The factory workers are pulling at Jai, asking if they can be paid. Whichever way Jai turns, there is no good solution that can solve everyone's problems."
Chris continued: "Jai definitely can't solve Megan's problems. He can maybe provide some better support for her, but that's all he can do – he can't help with the grieving process. He can't help Tracy either.
"There's also the question of who started the fire and all the finger-pointing of who it might be. Rishi looks guilty for a time, but then he reveals he's taken a loan from Kim.

"The Sharmas also face pressure over Rishi having turned off the fire alarm, which leads to a question of whether the insurance company will pay out at all.
"They're relying on the insurance money to help smooth the payments to Kim, which are extortionate. She's stitched Rishi up with a loan agreement that is impossible. The terms are dreadful, so Jai will have to look at that too.
"All of these things happen but it all rests on Jai. It's all on his shoulders. Laurel is probably one of the only people who can see that Jai is having to sort it all out. It is a big mess!"
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with extra episodes at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
