Emmerdale will see the Billy Fletcher and Max storyline escalate, with somebody getting shot.
In scenes airing next week, Billy (Jay Kontzle) is forced into doing another criminal job for Max (Jordan Reece), this time robbing a van with another guy called Woody. But Billy tips the police off, stopping the three of them from carrying out the robbery.
Unfortunately for Billy, he is told by DS Sanders that Max might know the truth.
Indeed, Max ends up having Jessie Dingle (Sandra Marvin), Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), and April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) at gunpoint and orders Jessie to give Billy a ring.
After receiving Jessie's voicemail, Billy rushes to Tall Trees along with Ellis.
Billy and an armed Max wrestle with each other, before the gun is fired and somebody is shot – although the identity of the victim is unknown.

Ellis Chapman is currently suffering from PTSD after being stabbed by two of Billy's enemies. Recently, Ellis' PTSD led to him knocking Marlon unconscious with a rolling pin, thinking it was Max.
Emmerdale currently airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with extra episodes at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
