Tonight's episode of Emmerdale (June 13) explored the aftermath of Ellis Chapman's stabbing, as he feared another attack and his brother Billy Fletcher was blackmailed.
Ellis (Asan N'Jie) was targeted by two enemies of Billy in the recent Big Night Out storyline – and in tonight's scenes, he feared yet another attack from the dangerous Max after he sent him threatening text messages.
Max, another nemesis of Billy, still has a score to settle after his old acquaintance ruined his plans for a warehouse robbery by pulling out at the last minute.
In tonight's scenes, Ellis ended up knocking Marlon unconscious with a rolling pin because he thought it was Max trying to break in and panicked.
Marlon was left with mild concussion, but after collecting himself, he and Jessie urged Ellis to get help after realising Ellis is suffering from PTSD.
Later on, Billy went to see Max to beg him to stay away from his family. However, Max said he'd only leave them alone if Billy did another criminal job for him.
