Emmerdale will reveal Maya Stepney's fate as the outcome of her court appearance airs next week.
The week starts with David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) continuing to blame himself for Maya (Louisa Clein) grooming Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant). He tries to make amends with Jacob, but his attempts are rejected.
Jacob then discovers Maya being confronted by a group of schoolgirls.
After scaring the students off, Jacob is initially told to go away by Maya – but the pair end up getting into Maya's car together.
Maya starts to break down knowing that her court appearance is the next day, but she is comforted by Jacob and the pair kiss.
Viewers have seen Maya attempting to get a lighter sentence by planning to plead guilty only to exchanging inappropriate texts with Jacob.
