Following the sensational deaths of Mitchell sisters Ronnie and Roxy last night (January 1), EastEnders has released a preview clip for tonight's episode.
The clip is captioned, "Little does Max know what he's waking up to in Monday's episode," and it sees Max getting up to find police in the hotel lobby.
As chemistry brewed between the pair, Max woke up in Roxy's room after he had hoped to spend the night with her.
She told Max to wait for her in the hotel room as she'd be back in 20 minutes, and then sneaked off with Ronnie to have some fun. But, obviously, she didn't come back.
The clip sees him waking up confused, before walking down to see police in the hotel and slowly piecing things together.

The sisters, of course, died in a horror swimming pool accident in the BBC soap's hour-long New Year's Day special.
The emotional episode started happily, as Ronnie was preparing to tie the knot to Jack Branning – but it didn't take long for things to take a turn for the worse.
After a drunk Roxy decided to take a swim, she soon found herself in trouble, and Ronnie jumped into the pool to save her but the dress weighed her down and the pair drowned.
Clearly upset about leaving the soap, Samantha Womack and Rita Simons, tweeted earlier that they were unable to respond to comments for the time being.
Samantha, who played Ronnie Mitchell, said: "I'm sorry I can't respond to any comments..I'm honestly broken. An appropriate end to the darkest year ever."
