Gillian Taylforth made her glamorous Instagram debut this week, showing off her travel antics. The EastEnders star had various business posts on her page, but admitted this was the first post she had made herself.

The actor could be seen wearing a striking blue dress while posing in front of a picturesque sunset on holiday in Turkey.

In the caption, she wrote: "My first Instagram post, my kids made me do itπŸ˜‚ Had a lovely time in Turkey."

Thomas Law and Laura Doddington both commented on how "beautiful" she looked in the snap.

Gillian's soap character Kathy Beale is having a hard time in the soap at the moment due to the fallout from son Ian's accident.

Ian accidentally struck Jordan Fox with his car while trying to drive a drunken Kathy away from Vicki Fowler and Ross Marshall's wedding.

Not realising it was a person he had hit, Ian drove off, leaving Jordan unconscious in the street.

Ian has been trying to manipulate the situation, attempting to force Chelsea Fox to admit to shouting at Jordan at the wedding, causing him to run out into the road and be hit by Ian's car.

He was hoping that if the blame were laid on both of them, the legal repercussions on him might be less severe.

Chelsea was left devastated when Jordan's surgeon informed her that he might not walk again, and speaking with Denise, she realised that Ian may only have checked in on her and Jordan for damage control.

Chelsea barged into Ian's, slapping him and informing him that Jordan might be paralysed because of him.

EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
