Former EastEnders star Joshua Pascoe has recently weighed in on a career pivot that saw him turn to create adult content on OnlyFans. The ex-actor, who portrayed Ben Mitchell on the BBC soap between 2010 and 2012, is now "happier" than ever.
Pascoe's stint as Ben - a character who has been played by six different actors between 1996 and 2025 - saw him at the centre of many a dramatic storyline, culminating in the killing of Heather Trott.
When the star left the show, he initially pursued acting and landed small roles until he started working on building sites. That's when his friends suggested he gave OnlyFans a go.
"After EastEnders, the acting slowly dried up and I went to work on a building site instead," Pascoe told the Daily Star.
"Then my friends suggested I start the adult work and within the first month I was in double figures. I get funny looks sometimes, but no one's asked me about it at work yet."
Working as an adult content creator has made Pascoe realise he was not "as vanilla" as he thought, as he opened his mind about people's kinks.

"The market for blokes' feet is mad... when I first got speaking to people they were like, 'Can we see a picture of your feet?'" he said.
"There are so many different kinks and since starting this, I've realised I'm not as vanilla as I thought."

Now, Pascoe balances his OnlyFans career with a nine-to-five job.
"I've been out of the acting world for years now. I've just got a normal job, I'm a normal bloke. I've got a nine to five, Monday to Friday. I'm humble – there's nothing flashy or lairy about me, I hope."
"I’m just a normal guy, but people have been really interested, which has baffled me. They've taken an interest and they like talking, they like finding out what you're up to, what you’ve got in the pipeline," he continued.
"And it's been pretty amazing. I never ever thought, I never ever imagined that it would take off the way it has done. And I couldn't be happier."
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
