EastEnders star James Farrar has warned that the dramatic feud between Zack Hudson and Nicola Mitchell may not be over.
Both characters look set to face a battle for the affections of their son Barney, who now knows the identity of his biological father.
Back in February, Nicola came clean to Zack about how he is Barney's dad rather than her ex-husband Teddy.
In explosive scenes last week, Vicki Fowler exposed the truth to Barney when she briefly believed that Zack had been killed by the Mitchells.

Speaking exclusively to us at the British Soap Awards, James predicted that Nicola will continue to cause problems for his character Zack.
Asked whether Vicki did the right thing by telling all, James laughed: "Yeah. Should have done it a lot earlier!"
He continued: "I think [Nicola's] addicted to lying, she's a narcissist and probably believes her own stories eventually.
"I think there's a lot more of that to come. You'd like to think this is the start of her going: 'You know what? I've got my son back'. I don't think it will be…"

James did express his hopes that Barney will slowly start to let Zack into his life. By the end of last week's scenes, the schoolboy indicated that his loyalties lay with the Mitchells and he wanted nothing more to do with Zack.
"I love working with Lewis [Bridgeman, who plays Barney]. What a beautiful young actor," James told us.
"How it would work, you just don't know because he's obviously got the Teddy and Nicola dynamic there. His brother tried to kill me. It's hard, innit? It's hard!
"There's something coming up in maybe two or three weeks' time with Harry and the rest of the family. When I read it, I thought: 'How?' But it's Albert Square, innit?"

The British Soap Awards 2025 took place at London's Hackney Empire on Saturday night (31 May).
The ceremony airs on Thursday (5 June) from 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
