EastEnders has revealed a disturbing twist about Sonia Fowler’s dad Terry, and there are major fears for the Walford legend ahead of her exit.
Terry abandoned his daughter decades ago, but waltzed back into her life this week after listening to the podcast about killer Reiss.
While Bianca had her reservations, Sonia decided to give Terry another chance – and he asked her to come back to Bali with him, along with Bex and Julia.

Sonia needed time to think about this life-changing decision, but as she and her dad got to know each other more in today’s episode, she realised she should consider this big move.

Meanwhile, Bianca was determined to dig up some dirt on Terry, but Kat used her experience with Zoe to explain that disapproving of Sonia’s choices would only push her further away.
In an emotional chat with struggling Stacey, Sonia admitted that there were too many ghosts in Walford, and Stacey said she might regret not taking this chance.
Sonia shared the news of Terry’s proposal with Bex, who was fully on board when she found out that the location was Bali. With the decision made, Sonia told her delighted dad that they would come with him, and he excitedly left to book their flight.

Bianca was quietly devastated when Sonia broke the news that they would be leaving tomorrow, but she took Kat’s advice and put on a brave face for her sister.
She took herself to the playground and tried to call her mum Carol, presumably to update her on the situation, when Terry approached – and finally showed his true colours.
As Carol phoned back, Terry threw vile insults at Bianca and her mum, and when Bianca tried to fight back, he violently grabbed her and left her in tears.
“I’ve waited a long, long time for this,” he said, “and I’m not going to let you ruin it. So you just steer clear of us, you understand?”
With Bianca proved right yet again, will she be able to tell Sonia what Terry is really like before it’s too late?
