EastEnders has confirmed a medical emergency in Albert Square next month in the aftermath of the 40th anniversary episodes.
In Tuesday’s episode (February 18), Reiss crashed his car into The Vic which resulted in several gas cans catching fire. That left many Walford residents in danger as the famous pub exploded.
It remains to be seen what happens during the rest of this thrilling week, but it's been confirmed Sonia will go into labour in Thursday’s live episode (February 20) – and not everyone will make it out of the disaster alive.

There's more drama to come in the weeks after the anniversary, with the community struggling to come to terms with what has happened.
