EastEnders has aired a game-changing plot in Cindy Beale's ongoing feud with Ian Beale.
Viewers saw Cindy previously lash out at her ex-husband, throwing a punch at him after failing to find her missing locket which would link Ian to her attack at Christmas.
Priya Nandra-Hart came to Ian's rescue at the time, and in tonight's episode was seen getting even friendlier with the cafe owner – but all wasn't as it seemed.

The episode began with Priya and Ian still at The Vic, enjoying a drink and continuing their scheme to make exes Cindy and Ravi jealous. Cindy inevitably took the bait, confronting the pair and claiming that Ian paid Priya to hang out with him.

"I ain't the one jumping into bed with my stepchildren," Priya retaliated, which led to Cindy throwing a drink over her.
Ian broke up the confrontation and told Cindy that he'll never let her back into his house to get whatever it is she was looking for. He then escorted Priya back to his so she could get cleaned up.

There, Ian apologised for Cindy's outburst and getting her involved in their drama, with Priya telling him not to worry. He offered to open a bottle of wine and the two headed to the living room to have a drink on the sofa.
The two toast to the 'Bad Exes' club and grew a little closer, so much so that Ian leaned in for a kiss, before retreating and apologising.
Shortly after, Kathy arrived calling Priya a "cheap tart", cueing Priya's exit. Kathy worried about what Priya wanted from Ian, but he assured his mum that "she's just a friend".

After leaving Ian's, Priya headed to the cafe for a late-night meeting with none other than Cindy. It turned out Priya was being paid by her to get the locket for Cindy, duping Ian in the process.
"This payout better be worth it," Priya told her, with Cindy replying: "You find me that locket, so I can prove that Ian was the one who attacked me and you can have everything we agreed."
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
