EastEnders star Thomas Law has made a big promise ahead of the show’s exciting live episode.
This month, the BBC soap is celebrating its 40th anniversary and is marking the occasion with a huge week of episodes – including a fully live episode on Thursday, February 20.
Law, who plays Peter Beale, will play a major role in the dramatic week, as one of the suspects in Cindy’s attempted murder case.

After weeks of secrets, lies and red herrings, it will be revealed who attacked Cindy on Christmas Day as the anniversary week unfolds.

With anticipation building for EastEnders’ first live episode in a decade, Law has promised that viewers won’t be disappointed.
"We’ve done it before and I think we did it very well," he said while appearing on today’s Morning Live. "There’s a lot of excitement around it. We’ve got a great cast, a lot of people have done theatre, so we’ll be prepared. Expect the best!

"In true EastEnders fashion, they’re just going to blow you all away. It’s going to tick all the boxes you need."
The actor also reflected on sharing the screen with some Walford legends, including Adam Woodyatt and Michelle Collins, who play Peter’s parents Ian and Cindy.
"It’s a dream coming back to work with the likes of Adam and Michelle," he said. "They’re iconic characters, aren’t they? People have grown up with those characters.
"I get stopped in the street and asked, ‘What’s it like having Ian Beale as a dad?’ It’s an honour really, it’s brilliant."

As well as the reveal of Cindy’s attacker, advanced spoilers have confirmed that many lives will be in danger when a "tragic disaster engulfs Albert Square", with residents trapped inside The Vic.
Plus, viewers have a big decision to make, as they will get to choose whether Denise picks Ravi or Jack to pursue a relationship with – the conclusion of a love triangle which has been explored in recent months.
The result of the public vote will be revealed in the live episode, with the cast prepared to perform two different scenes until shortly before transmission.
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
