EastEnders' Cindy Beale will spark backlash from her family in upcoming scenes after making a bold decision.
Earlier this week, the Beales found out that George had hid the shovel that was used to hit Cindy on Christmas Day.
George then discovered that the weapon had gone missing, before it was revealed that Junior had taken it back to his flat.

Last night's episode of the soap saw Junior admit to Cindy that he had the shovel, though he claimed he was the only person she was able to trust and suggested that one of the Beales must be her attacker.

Cindy then took the shovel to the police, before questioning whether Ian or Lauren was to blame.
In scenes set to air next week, Cindy awaits news from the police about the new evidence in her case.
After she and Ian clash over her accusations that one of the Beales attacked her, Cindy attempts to make peace by organising a truce dinner.

However, the atmosphere takes a turn when her true motivations are revealed.
Later on, Cindy realises that her locket has disappeared, leading her to believe the person who attacked her took it after hitting her.
When tension at the Beales' reaches boiling point, Junior tells Cindy that she's welcome to stay at his place.
However, her family are furious over this controversial decision given Cindy's affair with Junior before Christmas.
Last night's episode also saw Cindy direct suspicion at Kathy after she confronted Cindy about how she treated Ian.
"If you’ve left any evidence on that shovel, the police are going to get you," Cindy told her. "That’s if I don’t get you first!"
