EastEnders' Lauren Branning is set to receive a huge ultimatum from Cindy Beale in upcoming scenes.
Last week, Lauren threatened to go to the police after realising that something had happened between Cindy and Kojo, but Cindy discovered that Lauren was becoming addicted to painkillers and used this as leverage.
After a worried Peter asked her if she had started drinking again, Lauren threw the morphine away and told Cindy she no longer had anything over her.

However, with Lauren threatening to ask Kojo about his fall, Cindy was forced to take drastic action and approached Lauren with some pills, telling her she could get her a regular supply until she can wean herself off.

In scenes set to air on the BBC One soap later this month, Lauren is struggling with her withdrawal symptoms but refuses Cindy’s offer of more pills.
When her symptoms worsen, an oblivious Peter rushes Lauren to the hospital as she fears she's hurt the baby, though a scan thankfully confirms that the baby is okay.

When she learns that Lauren was using while pregnant, Cindy is horrified.
The pair later have a vicious showdown, and Cindy delivers an ultimatum: either Lauren tells Peter the truth, or she will.
Cindy continues to put pressure on Lauren to tell the truth, while Peter confides in Ian about Lauren’s mood swings.
Ian suggests that he should cheer Lauren up by proposing, as it will show her that he's committed to co-parenting this time. Will Peter go through with it, and how will Lauren react if he does?
