EastEnders spoilers follow for Tuesday’s episode (December 3), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders has aired two major revelations surrounding Nish Panesar, in the show’s latest episode.
This week, Eve returned to Walford and, after some encouragement from Stacey, she reunited with Suki in romantic scenes at the Christmas lights switch-on.
But it was revealed that Nish, who pleaded guilty to Keanu’s murder, wasn’t done yet. He phoned Nugget from prison, who told him that Suki and Eve’s wedding was still on.

In today’s episode, Suki and Eve were happy to be back together, but Suki explained that she had previously promised Nish that they wouldn’t get married.

Eve thought this didn’t matter as he was behind bars and wouldn’t find out about their wedding. But Nugget then confessed that he accidentally spilled the beans about their nuptials to Nish.
He said that he didn’t know the wedding was meant to be a secret and told Suki he was sick of all the lies and the games within the family.
Suki then received a phone call from the prison, and she found out that dying Nish’s condition had deteriorated and he was in hospital with not long to live.

She told Eve that Nish only wanted to see her and explained that she had no choice but to go and see him as he knew about the wedding and could blow up everything again for The Six.
At the hospital, the doctor told Suki that Nish could die within the next 24 hours, as she was allowed to pay him a visit in his frail state.
Nish reminded Suki that his ultimate sacrifice was in exchange for her agreeing not to marry Eve, but she had gone back on that promise.
He threatened that one way or another, she wasn’t going to get married – and he revealed that it was him who ordered the attack on Eve’s mum.

Horrified, Suki raged at Nish, telling him that he was a weak man who was going to die alone. She said her final goodbye to her ex-husband, making it clear that the wedding was going ahead.
But after Suki left, it was revealed that Nish was paying the doctor to help him pretend he was on his deathbed, and his condition wasn’t quite as critical as they had made out.
Nish promised to pay the man the rest of his fee when "the job is finished", and it seems that he is determined to stop the wedding once and for all.
"She’s not marrying that woman," he said. "I’m going to make sure of it." Are Suki and Eve in danger?
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
