EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders' Martin Fowler is set to receive some important news about his son Roman in upcoming scenes.
Martin recently learned that Ruby Allen had his child and didn't tell him, claiming she adopted him. After learning that he wanted full custody, Ruby told Martin that she wouldn't put his name on the birth certificate.

In scenes set to air next week, Martin goes to visit Roman in hospital, but the nurse turns him away.
However, when Roman's condition takes a turn, Ruby returns to Walford to look for Martin, but once again, things get heated between the two very quickly and Martin angrily lashes out at her.

Meanwhile, Ruby's friendship with Stacey Slater is in tatters, even though she tried to reconnect this week whilst trying to get Martin and Ruby to get along for the baby's sake, it all went a bit wrong.
"She doesn’t trust Ruby as far as she can throw her, and the last time they saw each other, things obviously didn’t end very well and Stacey ended up spending six months in prison because Ruby lied," Stacey actor Lacey Turner said.
"I’m not sure that they’ll ever get past that. At the moment, in Stacey’s world those bridges have been burnt, but in time, maybe it could change."
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
