EastEnders has revealed more details about Ruby Allen’s explosive return to Albert Square next week.
It has been confirmed that Ruby will make a dramatic comeback in next week’s episodes, with first-look images teasing a huge showdown with Martin in Louisa Lytton's first appearance since 2021.
Back in September, Sharon found out during her brief prison stint that her former stepmother Chrissie used to be cellmates with Ruby – before she left to give birth.

Sharon realised that this meant Ruby was telling the truth about her pregnancy and that Martin has a child he doesn’t know about.

Later in The Vic, Sharon finally bites the bullet and tells Martin everything, recounting what she discovered through Chrissie and revealing that he has a son.
Martin is stunned by this news and confides in Stacey, who is naturally suspicious about whether this is true. However, any doubt is soon cast aside when Sharon produces a birth certificate as confirmation.
He is curious and attempts to get Ruby’s address from Sharon, but they are interrupted by a knock on the door. Ruby herself makes a big entrance, storming into the house and accusing a confused Martin of stealing from her.

Ruby thinks that Martin has broken into her home, but Sharon soon corrects her and clears his name. Martin uses the opportunity to ask once and for all about the secret child, and Ruby admits that they have a son.
Ruby ends up in a row with Stacey, her best friend turned bitter enemy, and she then drops another huge bombshell on Martin.

After this latest shock, Martin confronts Ruby and demands answers from her. As the week continues, Stacey stands by Martin and promises to support him in his battle against Ruby.
