EastEnders spoilers follow for Monday’s episode (October 28), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.

EastEnders has revealed a big new problem for the women of The Six in the show’s latest episode.

After Dean Wicks’ mistrial last month, the investigation into Keanu’s murder was reopened, and the women involved in the cover-up were told they were to be re-interviewed by the police.

In today’s episode, Kathy and Suki spoke about the interviews that day, and Kathy reassured her that the police won’t have taken Linda’s murder confession seriously.

Nish, who was also being re-interviewed, noticed their tense conversation and became suspicious about Suki’s shifty behaviour.

All the women, except for an unwell Sharon, gathered at Suki’s house to get their stories straight, but Nish called round and wanted to know why they were all together.

Kathy arrived and started speaking about keeping secrets, unaware that Nish was there, and as they all left to go to the police station, his suspicions about the women grew.

In his police interview, Nish had nothing more to tell DCI Arthurs, but he soon realised that the women were being treated as suspects.

During Suki’s questioning, she was told that that her and Linda’s fingerprints were found on the tarpaulin that was used to cover Keanu’s body. However, she managed to explain this away, as did the other women.

That evening, Nish still had his suspicions, and he visited Suki again in a desperate attempt to get to the truth – but she kept quiet and asked him to leave.

But after taking Suki’s phone, Nish headed over to Kathy’s house where he bluffed and told her that Suki had revealed the truth. He even sent her a text from Suki’s phone, which made Kathy believe it was true.

As they talked, Nish said that the police know about the cover-up, and it was then that Kathy ended up explaining that Keanu had tried to kill Sharon on Christmas Day, so Linda stabbed him.

Nish was shocked to learn the truth about Keanu’s murder, and Kathy was horrified that he had tricked her into confessing.

Returning with her phone, Nish told Suki that he now knows their secret. With Suki faced with a difficult conversation, just what will Nish do next?
