EastEnders spoilers follow for Thursday’s episode (September 26), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders has provided a major update on Nish Panesar’s health condition in the show’s latest episode.
This week, Nish attempted to kill his son Vinny, after which Ravi demanded that Nish and Suki resolve their feud for good.
But Nish wasn’t interested in making amends, so when he collapsed in pain from his heart condition, Suki was willing to watch him die.
His life was saved by Avani arriving home and calling an ambulance, and in hospital Nish later revealed to his family that he had changed his will to leave everything to his grandchildren.

In today’s episode, Suki treated Vinny’s injuries, and he told his mum that she should have left Nish on the floor to die.
Eve got in touch with some old contacts to find out if anything could be done about the will, but she confirmed that Nish’s solicitor made sure the paperwork was watertight.
Suki then arrived at the hospital with Priya and Vinny and confronted Nish, but she was interrupted by the doctor who had some news about his health.
She explained that Nish’s condition has deteriorated quicker than expected and she wanted to involve the hospice care team, encouraging the family to make the most of their time together.

Outside the ward, Avani pleaded with Suki to leave Nish alone, especially now he is in the final weeks of his life.
Suki informed her that Nish tried to kill Vinny, but Avani suggested that because she was prepared to let Nish die, she was just as evil as her ex-husband.
Devastated by this, Suki later had an emotional chat with Vinny where she feared that getting involved in Nish’s games was changing them both.
She encouraged her son to go and make peace with Nish before he dies, so Vinny visited his dad and told him that he wasn’t afraid of him anymore.

But Vinny then decided to forgive Nish for his actions, and he comforted his dad when he broke down in tears.
Suki paid her own visit to Nish and decided to be the bigger person, giving her family the chance to spend time with him while they can.
She ended their war to allow him to spend his final days in peace, with the reassurance that she will still have her family long after he is gone.
Will this finally mark the end of the feud, or does Nish have other ideas?
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
