EastEnders spoilers follow from Wednesday's episode (July 17), which hasn't yet aired on TV but is available to watch on streaming service BBC iPlayer.
EastEnders has revealed that Jane Beale and her old flame Masood Ahmed are an item again.
Jane's secret relationship was shared with viewers in Wednesday's episode, not long after she'd told her ex-husband Ian that she was single.
Laurie Brett reprised her role as Jane for a short stint this week after being absent from the show since 2017.
Ian paid a visit to Jane's home after she'd reached out for advice on how to reconnect with their son Bobby.

This led to major rows and recriminations when Bobby, Peter and Cindy Beale all followed Ian to Jane's house in the Cotswolds.
In Wednesday's episode, Jane finally got her wish as she bonded with Bobby in an emotional heart-to-heart.
Bobby had expressed scepticism over whether they could ever have a normal relationship following the ill-fated cover-up of the truth about Lucy's death in 2014.
However, after some time to reconsider his stance, Bobby confided in Jane about his guilt in a powerful conversation, and he later admitted that he'd like to see her again.

Before Bobby headed back to Walford, Jane handed over a present for his upcoming 21st birthday – a bracelet inscribed with Ayat-Al-Kursi, considered the most powerful verse of the Quran.
When Bobby questioned how Jane knew about its significance, she brushed off the question and promised to explain another time.
Later, all became clear to viewers as Jane was seen on the phone while alone at home.

Jane had told Ian that she wasn't seeing anyone, but her cosy chat on the phone proved otherwise, as she was clearly speaking to a romantic partner.
After updating her other half on how the day had gone, Jane added: "Okay, love, see you later. Oh, Masood? That silver band with the scripture? He loved it. Thank you."
As Jane was the only character on camera for this scene, Nitin Ganatra – who played Masood – didn't make an on-screen return for the episode. He was last seen on the show in 2019.
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
