EastEnders’ Kat Mitchell will catch Denzel Danes in the act during the teenager’s steroids storyline.
Denzel has been struggling with his body image in recent weeks, and resorted to taking anabolic steroids in a bid to boost his confidence.
The decision has had adverse effects, however, with his general health and familial relationships both deteriorating as he attempted to keep his addiction a secret.

Next week’s scenes will begin with Denzel choosing the gym over some time with Amy, leading her to lecture him on his growing obsession with his fitness and body image.

Denzel initially feels guilty, but his attentions are turned as he receives a text informing him that his latest batch of steroids are soon to be delivered.
Denzel later clashes with Yolande at the café as she questions his diet, with Priya also agreeing that it’s not healthy for him.
Denzel returns home just as the parcel arrives, but Yolande hides the package in a bid to get him to open up, saying he won’t receive it unless he begins to talk about his feelings.

Denzel eventually makes up with Nugget after lying about his confrontation with Yolande, with Nugget subsequently going to the launderette to inform her of the latest developments.
Their conversation is interrupted, however, as a watchful Kat spots Denzel poking around in Yolande’s bag to steal his parcel, leaving him to answer for his actions.
Now that Denzel has been caught in the act, will his troubles come to light? Or will he manage to keep the deception going for a while longer?
