EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy has shared an update with fans, revealing that she has had to take a rare few days off work due to feeling unwell.
The actress, who has been a staple of our screens as Sonia Fowler for over 30 years, shared on Instagram that she was feeling "poorly", meaning she will miss a few days of filming.
"Poorly. The only time I will ever get to watch the South Bank Show Originals. Beryl Cook. Bliss," she wrote on an Instagram Story.

"But I hate being unwell and mucking up people’s schedules! Everyone works so hard and I really have to be very poorly to not go to work. Couple of days rest and I’ll be back at it!"
We wish her a speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, back in October Natalie opened up about her wedding plans to fiancé Marc Humphreys – almost a decade after the couple got engaged.
"We'd love to get married. We've been engaged for almost eight years!" she told OK!.

“One minute I want a great big wedding, the next minute I think we could just go somewhere really easy. I'm very indecisive.
"But at some point, I do think we’ll get our close family together at a lovely place in London, go to a restaurant and have a big party afterwards.
"Ten years would be a brilliant time to do it. Either ten years together or ten years engaged."
She added of having kids around: "You need to make time for romance. If it slips and we think we haven't done anything nice for a month, we do bring it up. He's better than me actually. He’ll bring it up more.
"We both fancy the pants off each other still, which is a good thing."
