EastEnders' George Knight is set to devastate fiancée Elaine Peacock over his secret meetings with Cindy Beale in new scenes on the soap.
George and his former wife Cindy shared a charged moment after she secretly invited him over for a drink a Christmas.
Later on, as Cindy and George happily reminisced at No 45, Elaine and Ian became jealous, and as George sensed his fiancée's upset, he lied by saying that he had booked a romantic trip away for them.

Upon the arrival of his adoptive parents Eddie and Gloria, Elaine is left concerned after George refuses to open up. At the Beale household, Cindy reveals to Ian that George was adopted.

While things start civilly, an argument blows up when Eddie makes rude comments to Gina, which annoys Cindy.
George and Gloria later have a chat as she shares some big insights into his heritage.
