EastEnders has revealed the aftermath of Jay Brown's shocking accident.
Jay will be involved in a car accident later this week, after coming to blows with his family over his recent behaviour.
Jay has found himself at odds with Ben, Callum and Billy in this week's scenes, thanks to his ongoing involvement with Nadine and, more recently, drugs.

Wednesday's episode (October 25) will see Jay's loved ones informed that he's been in an accident en route to Margate, and they will face an anxious wait for news in the days after.

Discussing the devastating scenes ahead, Jamie Borthwick, who plays Jay, said: "There is an accident at the house and after that, Jay just cannot cope anymore. He needs to get away from Walford because being around there is just causing nothing but carnage.
"He tries to persuade Gina to come with him to Margate — he wants to go back there because him and Lola had spent some time there together.
"Gina says she is going to go, but doesn't end up coming. So, on a whim and under the influence, he drives to Margate, but it doesn't quite go to plan."
