When she tried to organise a secret meeting between Jack and Denise, it ended badly, so she tried to reach out to Denise's daughter Chelsea Fox for support instead. Chelsea was still stung by Ravi's affair, so she lashed out at the teen for keeping the secret from her.
"I thought we were family," Chelsea angrily told Amy as she walked away.
In the final moments of the episode, viewers saw Amy placing a call to an unknown person where she revealed how distressed she was.
"I don't know what to do anymore. I'm scared, I'm really, really scared," she confessed.
A panicked Amy briefly considered self-harming once again but then started trashing her room instead. After Amy had shattered her mirror, the episode closed with a confused Amy looking down at the shards of glass on her floor.
Elsewhere in the episode, Denise's sister Kim faced consequences of her own when Howie turned up to deliver court documents over her upcoming case.
Viewers will remember that Kim crashed her car, with young Denzel inside, when she read text messages from Ravi on Denise's phone.
Kim forced her sister to face the gossip head-on by showing her face at the pub, only for Chelsea to arrive with harsh words for her mum and aunt.
"I gave [Ravi] an alibi. I could go to prison," she angrily reminded her mother.
Denise insisted she'd tried to warn Chelsea to stay away from Ravi, but her daughter was having none of it. Chelsea ordered Denise to stay out of her life… for good this time!
