Chelsea Fox has made a foolish decision over Ravi Gulati's criminal case in EastEnders.
This week has seen Chelsea doubt her new relationship with Ravi after the way he exploded in anger towards his son Nugget, but she has now doubled down on protecting him.
Nugget had made a reckless decision to take baby Jordan to Denzel's house party in the hours before Kim and Denzel crashed their car into the Argee Bhajee.

In Thursday's episode (April 6), Ravi faced interrogation by the Walford PD for stealing a laptop he'd gifted Nugget. While he was released under caution, Ravi felt the police were finally onto him.

Meanwhile, Denise confided in sister Kim that she'd been the one to tip off Ravi about Jack's police investigation in hopes of getting him to leave the family alone.
Kim felt deeply conflicted over what to do with this information, considering Howie had broken up with her due to the accidental crash. After a video call with Patrick, she decided she'd call the police to share the truth.
Meanwhile, Chelsea witnessed an emotional scene in the Square when Ravi hugged his son Nugget to apologise for their row this week. Chelsea then approached Ravi with a shocking offer.

"You can't go to prison… You need an alibi. Consider it done," she promised.
While Ravi was pleasantly surprised to see Chelsea putting her whole life on the line for him, the situation will escalate next week when Denise finds out what her daughter has done.
